Raccord Alphacool 17394

The Alphacool Eiszapfen 90° compression fitting for 16mm HardTube is a high-end brass fitting with a chrome finish designed for liquid cooling systems. One side has a 1/4" thread compatible with most components, while the other side accepts a 16mm acrylic or brass tube. The fitting is angled 90° to simplify routing and reduce the need for complex hose connections; the threaded side can rotate to allow flexible installation. Dimensions: approximately 29 mm width and 45 mm depth.

Advantages

This Alphacool 90° compression fitting combines high flow capacity with precise machining and durable surface treatment. The outer coating is applied using a specialized process that bonds firmly to the brass body to reduce chipping or peeling, and the distinctive Alphacool logo and shape improve part recognition. The union nut features slanted corners that press the O‑ring firmly against the HardTube for an improved, secure seal and increased safety during transport.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid cooling loops using 16mm HardTube
• Connections requiring a 90° change of direction
• Systems and components with 1/4" threaded ports (radiators, pumps, reservoirs)

Key specifications

• Model: 90° compression fitting 16mm
• Thread: 1/4" (compatible with ~95% of components)
• Tube compatibility: 16mm acrylic or brass HardTube
• Material: brass
• Product colour/finish: chrome
• Approx. dimensions: 29 mm (width) x 45 mm (depth)

How to use

Slide the tubing into the compression fitting until it seats against the internal stop, then tighten the union nut to compress the O‑ring and form a secure seal. Use the threaded 1/4" side to connect to compatible ports on radiators, pumps or reservoirs. Rotate the threaded side as needed during installation to achieve the desired alignment before final tightening. Ensure components are hand‑tightened and checked for leaks before applying full system pressure.

Recommendations

Inspect the O‑ring and tubing end for debris or damage before assembly. Do not overtighten metal fittings; snug hand tightening with a slight additional turn using a suitable tool is sufficient. Test the loop for leaks with the system powered off and the pump running for several hours before normal operation.
