Raccord Alphacool 17424

The Alphacool 17424 fitting is a precision brass connector finished in black, designed for use in custom PC liquid cooling loops. With compact dimensions of 25 mm width and 12 mm depth and a weight of 40 g, this fitting provides a balance of strength and low mass suitable for tight installations and modular radiator or tubing connections. Its metal construction offers mechanical durability and thermal stability for reliable performance in continuous cooling operation.

Advantages

This brass fitting combines corrosion resistance with dimensional stability, reducing the risk of leaks over time. The black finish provides a low-profile appearance that integrates with most system builds. Its small form factor and light weight simplify routing in confined spaces while maintaining a secure, threaded connection that supports consistent coolant flow and pressure.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid cooling loops
• Connections between radiators, reservoirs, pumps and tubing
• Tight or compact chassis where space is limited
• Upgrades or replacements of existing fittings in water-cooling systems

Key specifications

• Material: Brass
• Finish: Black
• Width: 25 mm
• Depth: 12 mm
• Weight: 40 g
• Product type: Fitting for liquid cooling systems

How to use

Install the fitting into the mating threaded port or tubing connector following manufacturer torque recommendations. Ensure all contact surfaces are clean and free of debris before assembly. Hand-start the threads to avoid cross-threading, then tighten with appropriate tools until snug; avoid over-tightening which can damage threads or seating surfaces. After assembly, perform a pressure or leak test of the cooling loop with the system unpowered to confirm a secure seal before full operation.

Recommendations

Use compatible tubing and sealing materials recommended for PC liquid cooling. Periodically inspect fittings for signs of corrosion, looseness or leaks, and re-check seals after the initial run-in period. When mixing metals in a cooling loop, use appropriate inhibitors to minimize galvanic corrosion.
