Micro Behringer VIDEO MIC MS

The Behringer VIDEO MIC MS is a compact condenser microphone engineered for mobile video recording and on-the-go interviews. With a supercardioid pickup pattern and an integrated shock mount, it captures focused audio while reducing handling and ambient noise. Its lightweight construction and simple mounting make it compatible with a range of mobile devices and compact camera setups for clear voice and field recordings.

Advantages

The supercardioid pickup pattern provides directional sound capture that minimizes off-axis noise and improves speech intelligibility in noisy surroundings. The built-in shock mount reduces vibrations and handling noise without the need for additional accessories. Designed for portability, the microphone is lightweight and easy to attach to mobile rigs or camera shoe mounts, allowing fast setup and consistent audio quality during on-location shoots.

Suitable for

• Mobile video creators recording interviews, vlogs and field reports
• Journalists and reporters conducting on-the-spot interviews
• Content creators capturing clear dialogue for social media and streaming
• Podcasters and voice recordists working outside studio environments

Point the supercardioid capsule toward the sound source for optimal directivity and reduced background noise. Monitor levels through your recording device or headphones where available, and adjust distance to the subject to achieve clear, natural voice capture. Handle the unit by its mount and avoid direct contact with the capsule to minimize handling noise.

Recommendations

For best results, use the Behringer VIDEO MIC MS in environments where the microphone can be directed toward the speaker and away from dominant noise sources. When recording in windy conditions, consider a compatible windscreen or foam cover to reduce wind noise. Use short cable runs and check connections before recording to prevent signal loss or interference.
