Ruban isolant électrique Cimco 160205

Cimco 160205 electrical tape set contains four PVC adhesive rolls in black and blue colors, designed for electrical insulation and minor repair tasks. Each roll measures 10 m in length and 15 mm in width, providing a compact, easy-to-store solution for protecting wires, insulating connections and marking cables. The tape is produced in the Netherlands and formulated to withstand typical voltages and everyday wear encountered in household and professional electrical work.

Advantages

The PVC construction provides good dielectric strength and flexibility, allowing the tape to conform to irregular shapes and maintain adhesion over time without becoming brittle. The set offers two colors for basic color-coding or visual distinction between circuits. Compact roll dimensions make the tape convenient for toolboxes and on-site use, while the adhesive is formulated for reliable bonding to common insulation materials.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting spliced wires and cable joints
• Temporary repairs to damaged cable insulation
• Color-coding and marking of cables in small installations
• Everyday electrical maintenance in homes, workshops, and service vans

Key specifications

• Material: PVC electrical tape
• Roll length: 10 m per roll
• Roll width: 15 mm
• Colors included: black and blue
• Pack content: 4 rolls
• Manufacturing origin: Netherlands

How to use

Clean and dry the surface of the conductor or cable before applying tape. Start by anchoring the tape with an initial wrap, then overlap successive turns by about half the tape width to ensure continuous coverage and adequate insulation thickness. For joints or repairs, wrap several layers until the damaged area is fully covered and smooth out any folds. Cut the tape by tearing by hand or using scissors when the desired coverage is achieved.

Recommendations

Use this PVC electrical tape for standard voltage applications and temporary repairs. Avoid exposing the tape to open flames or prolonged high temperatures above typical operating ranges. For permanent or high-voltage installations, follow local electrical codes and consider using specialized insulating materials designed for those conditions.
