Rail de rack Rittal 8617.720

The Rittal 8617.720 rack rail is a galvanized steel mounting rail designed for use in 19-inch rack systems and equipment enclosures. With a width of 600 mm and a slim profile, the rail provides stable support for mounting panels, patch panels, servers, and other rack-mounted devices. Each pack contains four rails, offering the components needed to assemble a robust internal rail frame while maintaining corrosion resistance through the galvanized finish.

Advantages

The galvanized steel construction ensures long-term durability and resistance to rust in typical indoor installation environments. The 600 mm width and compact depth allow efficient use of cabinet interior space while supporting standard rack equipment. Supplied as a set of four rails, the package simplifies procurement for complete rack builds and reduces the need to source multiple individual rails.

How to use

Install the rails inside a compatible 19-inch cabinet or enclosure by aligning them with the cabinet mounting points and fastening with appropriate hardware. Ensure rails are level and securely fixed at both top and bottom mounting positions to provide stable support for equipment. Place rack-mount devices onto the rails and secure them using rack screws or cage nuts suitable for the cabinet. Follow the cabinet manufacturer's instructions for load distribution and maximum permitted loads when populating the rack.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility with your specific cabinet model and mounting pattern before installation. Use corrosion-resistant fasteners in environments with elevated humidity. Distribute device weight evenly across rails and avoid exceeding the cabinet's rated load. For professional installations, follow local standards and safety guidelines for electrical and mechanical work.
