Porte-embout Wiha 2970

The Wiha 2970 screwdriver bit holder is an insulated torque adapter designed for controlled screw tightening on live electrical parts up to 1,000 V AC. It converts compatible slimVario and LiftUp electric screwdrivers into a torque tool, providing a clear click signal and visual indicators when the preset torque is reached. Manufactured to IEC 60900 and individually tested at 10,000 V AC, the adapter meets safety requirements for electrical work while ensuring repeatable tightening with a release accuracy of ±10%.

Advantages

The adapter reduces costs by ensuring correct torque and preventing warranty claims. It increases efficiency by avoiding material damage and eliminating rework. Fully compatible with the Wiha slimBit system, it securely holds 75 mm slimBits. Each unit is individually tested and approved for safe use on live parts up to 1,000 V AC.

How to use

Attach the easyTorque adapter to the bit holder of a compatible slimVario or LiftUp electric screwdriver and insert a 75 mm slimBit. Set the required torque on the adapter (if adjustable on your model), then tighten the fastener until you hear a click and observe the yellow ring and red adapter rotating in opposite directions—this indicates that the preset torque has been reached. Do not rely on the adapter if it shows visible damage; replace it before use. Bit holders or blades are not included with delivery.

Recommendations

Use the adapter only with intact insulation and compatible Wiha screwdriver systems. Verify torque settings before critical assemblies and follow applicable safety procedures for live electrical work.
