Dust management includes a tool-free Dust Port Swivel adapter compatible with DEWALT's Airlock system or a standard 35 mm dust extractor. The tool is intended for battery-powered operation and pairs with compatible DeWALT vacuums through the Wireless Tool Control system.

Advantages

The variable speed trigger with a lock-on 5-speed selection dial provides precise control across different sanding applications. Quick-release belt change allows fast replacement of sandpaper without tools. Low vibration (1.5 m/s²) and comparatively quiet operation improve user comfort during extended use. The brushless motor delivers longer runtime and efficiency, while the Dust Port Swivel and Airlock compatibility reduce airborne dust for a cleaner workspace.

Use appropriate abrasive grit for the workpiece and progress from coarse to fine grits for best surface results. Do not operate the tool in wet conditions and follow DeWALT safety instructions and battery handling guidelines.
