Module Keystone DELOCK 86852 embase plate, noir

DELOCK 86852 is a flat female keystone module in black, designed for integration into standard keystone openings such as modular patch panels, wall plates and surface-mount boxes. The module provides a female connector interface compatible with FireWire extension use and offers a compact, low-profile form factor that saves space in network enclosures and faceplates. Its standardised keystone dimensions enable snap-in mounting without additional tools.

Advantages

The compact and flat design minimises depth behind faceplates and patch panels, allowing installation where space is limited. The standard keystone dimensions ensure compatibility with a wide range of keystone-compatible panels and wall plates for straightforward snap-in mounting. The black colour provides a neutral appearance that blends into most installation environments. The female connector interface permits easy extension of FireWire connections through a panel or wall plate.

Suitable for

• Modular patch panels requiring a female FireWire port
• Wall plates and faceplates for media or AV installations
• Surface-mount boxes and keystone mounting frames
• Custom cabling projects where a low-profile keystone outlet is needed

Key specifications

• Module type: flat female keystone module
• Colour: black
• Compatibility: standard keystone openings (snap-in mounting)
• Intended connector use: FireWire extension via female interface
• Form factor: low-profile, space-saving design

How to use

Insert the module into a compatible keystone opening by aligning it with the panel or faceplate cutout and pressing until it snaps into place. Route the internal cable or connector to the rear of the module as required for your installation, ensuring proper strain relief and connector orientation. From the front, plug the FireWire cable into the female interface to establish the connection through the mounted panel or wall plate. To remove the module, depress the keystone retention tabs as applicable and pull the module free.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use with keystone-compatible panels and accessories, secure rear cables to prevent strain on the connector, and avoid excessive bending behind faceplates. Verify connector orientation and electrical compatibility with existing FireWire equipment before finalising the installation.
