Micro-cravate DeLOCK 66638

The DeLOCK 66638 lavalier microphone is a wired clip-on microphone designed for clear voice and vocal transmission. It features USB and 3.5 mm connectivity, a 2 m cable and a convenient clip to attach to clothing for hands-free use. The microphone is black and compatible with common operating systems via USB Plug & Play.

Advantages

This lavalier microphone captures sound with an omnidirectional (circle) pickup pattern, allowing it to record signals from all directions. It offers a higher sampling depth and rate than typical USB microphones — up to 24 bit / 192 kHz — and a 3.5 mm headphone output that delivers up to 32-bit depth at 192 kHz for direct monitoring. Low self-noise and stable performance enable precise recording of fine sound details without additional drivers.

Connect the USB plug to a computer for power and digital audio; alternatively use the 3.5 mm jack where supported. Select the DeLOCK microphone as the input device in your operating system or application. For headphone monitoring, connect headphones to the 3.5 mm output and adjust the monitoring level in your software or system audio settings. No driver installation is required for standard USB Plug & Play operation on Windows, macOS, Chrome OS and Linux.

Recommendations

Place the clip within 15–25 cm of the mouth for best speech clarity, avoid covering the microphone capsule with clothing, and minimise wind or rustling noises by securing loose fabric. Use the USB connection for highest audio resolution and the 3.5 mm output for direct monitoring.
