Mètre ruban Stanley Powerlock 8 m

The STANLEY PowerLock 8M (25mm) Tape Measure features the classic slide lock first introduced in 1969, designed to speed up and simplify measuring. The 25 mm blade width offers clear, legible graduations and the tape is class II accurate with a tolerance of ±0.5 mm at 1 m. The polyester film-coated blade increases abrasion resistance compared with standard lacquered blades, and BladeArmor™ reinforces the first 75 mm of the blade—the area most exposed to wear. A TRU-ZERO™ hook moves on its rivets to provide precise internal and external measurements.

Advantages

Durable construction with a polyester film-coated blade that resists abrasion and an additional BladeArmor™ coating on the blade tip for extended life. Class II accuracy (±0.5 mm at 1 m) ensures reliable measurements for most professional tasks. The TRU-ZERO™ hook and the classic slide lock mechanism enable quick, accurate inner and outer measurements and fast operation on the job.

Suitable for

• General construction and carpentry measurements
• Interior and exterior dimensional checks
• DIY projects and home renovation tasks
• Professional trades requiring a portable measuring tool

Key specifications

• Brand: STANLEY
• Model: PowerLock 8M (MPN 0-33-527, EAN 3253560335274)
• Blade length: 8 m
• Blade width: 25 mm
• Accuracy class: II (±0.5 mm at 1 m)
• Blade coating: Polyester film with BladeArmor™ reinforcement on first 75 mm
• Hook: TRU-ZERO™ sliding/adjusting hook for internal/external measurements
• Case dimensions (manufacturer data): approx. 120 x 40 x 180 mm

How to use

Pull the blade out of the case to the required length and engage the slide lock to hold the blade in place. For external measurements, hook the TRU-ZERO™ end onto the object and read the graduation. For internal measurements, press the hook against the interior surface and read the scale—the hook compensates automatically for its thickness. Retract the blade slowly into the case to avoid damage and ensure the BladeArmor™ reinforced tip is protected from impact.

Recommendations

Store the tape measure in a dry place and avoid dropping it onto hard surfaces. Retract the blade under control and avoid rapid recoil. Use the reinforced BladeArmor™ tip for tasks where the blade end is frequently engaged to reduce wear and prolong service life.
