Kit d'alimentation HPE MSL3040 U Q6Q64A

The Power Supply Kit HPE MSL3040 U Q6Q64A is a replacement power module designed for HPE MSL3040 tape library environments. This black power supply kit provides the necessary electrical delivery to support tape drives and library electronics, helping to maintain continuous operation and protect data access. The component is intended to match the mechanical form factor and connector interfaces of the MSL3040 chassis to ensure straightforward replacement.

Advantages

The kit offers stable power output and a rugged enclosure that withstands continuous data centre use. Its design focuses on reliability and compatibility with the HPE MSL3040 tape library, reducing downtime during power-module replacement. The power supply's efficient delivery helps maintain operational temperature and reduces the risk of outages related to power instability.

Suitable for

• Replacing a faulty or degraded power supply module in HPE MSL3040 tape libraries
• Maintaining redundancy in tape library power systems
• Data centre or enterprise backup environments that use HPE MSL3040
• On-site hardware servicing and preventive maintenance of tape storage

Key specifications

• Compatibility: Designed for HPE MSL3040 tape library series
• Colour: Black enclosure
• Form factor: Rack/library replaceable power module sized for MSL3040 chassis
• Function: AC to DC power conversion for tape library electronics and drives
• Build: Robust metal/plastic housing intended for continuous operation in server rooms

How to use

Before installation, power down the tape library following HPE shutdown procedures and disconnect AC power. Remove the front access panel or power-module cover on the MSL3040, then extract the existing power supply by loosening any retaining screws or latches. Insert the replacement power supply into the same bay until it seats and the locking mechanism engages. Reattach any covers, reconnect AC power, and power up the library. Verify that the library recognizes the new module and that power indicators report normal status.

Recommendations

Handle the power supply with ESD precautions and avoid operating the library with multiple power modules removed. Keep the unit in a controlled environment (temperature and humidity per HPE specifications) and use qualified technicians for installation to preserve warranty and ensure correct operation.
