Jeu de douilles KS Tools 911.0661

The KS Tools 911.0661 socket set provides a comprehensive range of 61 socket heads with a 3/8" drive size, designed to cover a wide variety of fastening tasks in automotive and mechanical work. The complete set is supplied in a sturdy case and has a total weight of 4.2 kg, offering a balance between portability and a full selection of commonly used sizes. Materials and finish are chosen for wear resistance and reliable torque transfer during repeated use.

Advantages

This socket set combines a broad size range and a standardized 3/8" drive to suit most mid‑torque applications, reducing the need to switch between multiple tools. Durable manufacturing and a corrosion‑resistant finish extend component life under workshop conditions. The organized case keeps sockets accessible and reduces time spent searching for the right size, while the overall weight supports easy transport between job sites without sacrificing completeness.

Suitable for

• Automotive maintenance and repair tasks
• General mechanical assembly and disassembly
• Home garage and DIY projects requiring a range of socket sizes
• Professional workshops that need a compact, versatile socket kit

Key specifications

• Number of sockets: 61 pieces
• Drive size: 3/8" (9.5 mm)
• Total set weight: 4.2 kg
• Storage: fitted carrying case with organized layout
• Material/finish: tool steel with corrosion‑resistant coating

How to use

Select the socket that matches the fastener head and push it onto the 3/8" drive ratchet or extension. Ensure the socket is fully engaged on the fastener before applying torque. For loosening, apply steady, controlled force and avoid sudden impacts unless using impact‑rated tools and sockets. After use, clean off grease or debris and return sockets to their marked positions in the case to maintain organisation and prevent loss.

Recommendations

Use the kit for mid‑range torque applications typical of passenger vehicles and light machinery. Avoid using standard sockets with high‑impact tools unless they are explicitly rated for impact use. Periodically inspect sockets for rounding or cracking and keep them clean and lightly oiled to prevent corrosion and ensure consistent performance.
