Hachoir multifonction Lurch (10288)

Home cooks who want finely chopped onions, herbs, nuts or vegetables without dragging out a full-size food processor will reach for the Lurch Multi Chopper. Its pull-cord drive spins a three-blade stainless steel cutting unit inside a 900 ml transparent bowl, so you control the texture by how many times you pull the cord. The non-slip silicone ring keeps the chopper steady on the worktop while you work, and the enclosed blade system means hands stay away from the cutting edges during operation.

Key specifications

• Manual pull-cord operation – no batteries or power required
• Three curved stainless steel blades for even chopping, mincing and pureeing
• 900 ml food-grade SAN bowl with transparent body
• Non-slip silicone base ring for stability
• Dishwasher-safe container, blade unit and lid (excluding pull mechanism)
• BPA-free materials
• Colour: green / transparent

Why choose it

The pull-cord mechanism gives you precise control over the result – a few pulls for a coarse chop, more for a fine mince or puree. Because it is fully manual, it works anywhere, from a small kitchen to a campsite, and it takes up far less space than an electric chopper. The three-blade design cuts quickly and evenly, so you spend less time prepping and more time cooking.

Ideal use cases

• Chopping onions, garlic, herbs and nuts for everyday cooking
• Making fresh salsas, pesto or baby food in small batches
• Preparing ingredients when travelling, camping or in a caravan
• Quickly mincing small amounts of meat or cooked vegetables

Good to know

All parts that come into contact with food can be taken apart quickly and cleaned in the dishwasher, except for the pull-cord lid mechanism, which should be wiped with a damp cloth. The transparent bowl lets you see the chopping progress without opening the lid.
