Foret à pierre KWB 242695

The KWB 242695 masonry drill bit is a 6.5 mm SDS Plus hammer drill designed for reliable drilling into masonry, brick and concrete. It features an SDS Plus shank for secure tool connection, a self-centring tip for accurate starts, and a multi-phase spiral profile that promotes efficient waste removal while reducing friction and heat build-up. The bit is brazed at high temperature for strength and minimal vibration and conforms to recognised German testing and building-technology standards.

Advantages

The drill bit provides precise centring and clean hole starts thanks to its self-centring tip. High-temperature brazing and a robust single-piece design increase durability for professional and DIY use. The multi-phase spiral reduces clogging and heat, supporting longer life and consistent cutting performance. SDS Plus shank ensures quick and secure mounting in compatible hammer drills.

How to use

Insert the SDS Plus shank into a compatible hammer drill until it locks. Position the self-centring tip on the marked drilling point and start drilling at moderate speed to establish the hole. Once established, use hammer mode and apply steady, even pressure without forcing the bit. Withdraw periodically to clear dust if drilling deep holes. After use, clean debris from the flutes and store the bit in a dry place.

Recommendations

The bit is intended for use with SDS Plus rotary hammer drills on masonry materials; avoid using it in wood or metal. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye and ear protection, dust mask) and follow the tool manufacturer's instructions for drill speed and hammer settings.
