Raccord Alphacool 17236

The Alphacool 17236 fitting is a compact brass fitting with a black finish designed for use in computer cooling systems. It measures 34.5 mm in width, 35.5 mm in depth and 22 mm in height, and is supplied as a single unit per pack. The fitting is intended to provide a reliable connection point within liquid cooling loops, combining brass construction with a corrosion-resistant surface treatment for extended service life in PC water-cooling setups.

Advantages

Constructed from durable brass with a black surface finish, the Alphacool 17236 fitting offers mechanical strength and resistance to wear. Its compact dimensions suit confined installation spaces in cases and radiators. Supplied individually, the fitting facilitates targeted replacements or upgrades without the need for bulk purchases. The product colour and material provide compatibility with common coolant types and system components when installed correctly.

Suitable for

• Custom PC water-cooling loops where a compact brass fitting is required
• Replacement of a single worn or damaged fitting in an existing cooling system
• Small-form-factor builds or tight mounting locations inside cases and radiators

How to use

Inspect the fitting and mating components before installation to ensure thread and diameter compatibility. Shut down and drain the cooling loop following the system manufacturer's procedures. Install the Alphacool 17236 fitting into the intended port or tubing connection, tightening by hand initially and then to the manufacturer's recommended torque with appropriate tools to avoid over-tightening. Refill and bleed the loop, then check for leaks during a controlled test run before returning the system to full operation.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use compatible tubing, clamps or compression rings and follow coolant manufacturer guidelines. Periodically inspect fittings for signs of wear, corrosion or leaks, and replace any component showing deterioration. When installing in confined spaces, ensure sufficient clearance to avoid strain on the connection.
