Connecteur coudé ShiverPeaks Basic-S

The ShiverPeaks Basic-S angled HDMI connector is a space-saving, right-angle adapter designed to improve cable routing behind displays and AV equipment. Finished in white, it offers a low-profile connection point that reduces stress on HDMI cables and prevents interference with furniture or wall mounts. Supplied as a single unit, this angled connector supports simple, reliable HDMI connectivity for home theater and office installations.

Advantages

The angled design allows cables to exit parallel to the device surface, minimizing bend radius and strain on the HDMI cable. A compact, white housing provides a discreet appearance that blends with light-coloured equipment and wall finishes. The connector facilitates easier access to HDMI ports in recessed or tight spaces, helping to maintain neat cable management and prolong cable life.

Suitable for

• Wall-mounted TVs with limited clearance behind the screen
• Tight AV cabinets and shelving where straight connectors interfere with nearby surfaces
• Home theater systems requiring clean, low-profile cable routing
• Office monitors or conference-room displays with space constraints

Key specifications

• Orientation: Angled/right-angle HDMI connector for space-saving cable exit
• Finish: White housing for a discreet appearance
• Quantity: Single-unit pack suitable for one connection point
• Compatibility: Standard HDMI plug interface for use with HDMI cables and HDMI-equipped devices
• Construction: Low-profile design to reduce cable stress and allow installation in recessed areas

How to use

Connect the angled connector to the device's HDMI port by aligning the connector with the port and inserting it until it seats firmly. Attach an HDMI cable to the exposed end of the adapter, ensuring a secure connection. Position the connector so the cable exits in the desired direction to reduce bending near the device. Check that the connection is snug and that the cable is supported to avoid heavy downward pull on the connector.

Recommendations

For best results, use the angled connector with cables that have some flexibility near the plug and avoid forcing sharp bends at the cable entry. Install the connector before finalising wall mounts or furniture placement to ensure optimal cable routing and to prevent undue mechanical stress on ports.
