Commutateur administrable Grandstream GWN7813

The Grandstream GWN7813 is a managed Layer 3 Gigabit Ethernet switch with 24 Gigabit RJ-45 ports, a switching capacity of 128 Gbit/s and a MAC address table of 16,000 entries. Rack-mountable and available in a grey finish, the GWN7813 supports a wide set of networking standards to deliver scalable, secure and high-performance connectivity for enterprise networks.

Advantages

The GWN7813 provides Layer 3 routing and advanced switching features in a managed form factor, supporting IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, IEEE 802.1x authentication and link aggregation (IEEE 802.3ad). With 10G uplink support, a large MAC table and 128 Gbit/s switching capacity, it is suited for dense deployments that require reliable throughput and centralized management via embedded controller, GWN.Cloud or on-premise GWN Manager.

Suitable for

• Enterprise and campus networks requiring managed Layer 3 switching
• Server rooms and wiring closets with rack-mount installations
• Environments needing VLAN segmentation and port-based authentication (802.1x)
• Networks requiring high-capacity uplinks (10G) and link aggregation

How to use

Install the GWN7813 into a standard 19-inch rack and connect power and network cabling to the Gigabit ports. Configure basic network settings, VLANs, routing and security policies through the device’s web user interface, or opt to manage the switch with the built-in embedded controller. Alternatively, register the device with GWN.Cloud for cloud-based provisioning and monitoring, or deploy GWN Manager on-premise for centralized administration of multiple Grandstream networking devices.

Recommendations

For best results, place the switch in a ventilated rack environment and use quality Cat5e/Cat6 or higher cabling for Gigabit and 10G connections. Use VLANs and 802.1x authentication to segment traffic and improve network security, and monitor performance with GWN.Cloud or GWN Manager to detect and address issues promptly.
