Clé plate Gedore 6577510

The Gedore 6577510 open end wrench is manufactured from high-strength vanadium steel (31CrV3) and conforms to DIN 894 and ISO 3318 standards. The jaw set is angled at 15° to improve access in confined spaces. Finish varies by size: a manganese-phosphate coating is applied to sizes up to 38 mm, while steel-grey finish is used for sizes 41 mm and larger. The wrench is supplied with a hanging hole and is available in sizes from 10 mm to 135 mm.

Advantages

This open end wrench offers standardized dimensions according to DIN 894 and ISO 3318, providing compatibility with commonly used fasteners. The 15° jaw angle allows easier engagement in tight areas. Made of Gedore vanadium steel 31CrV3, the tool has high strength and wear resistance. Size-dependent finishes improve corrosion resistance for smaller sizes and provide a uniform appearance for larger sizes. Lightweight construction and a hanging hole facilitate storage and handling.

How to use

Select the correct wrench size for the fastener to ensure full jaw contact. Position the wrench so the 15° angled jaw provides the best approach to the nut or bolt, apply steady torque and avoid sudden impacts. For repeated or heavy use, verify the wrench condition regularly and replace if jaws show excessive wear or deformation. Store the wrench on a pegboard or rack using the hanging hole to keep it accessible and to prevent damage.

Recommendations

Use the Gedore 6577510 open end wrench for hand operations only; avoid using cheater bars or striking the wrench with hammers. Keep the tool clean and lightly oiled to preserve the finish and reduce corrosion on sizes with manganese-phosphate coating.
