Clé hexagonale coudée Wiha 24307

The Wiha 24307 L-shaped hex key is a durable tool made from chrome-vanadium steel with through hardening and a chrome-plated finish. It conforms to ASME B18.3 standards and features a ball end on the long arm to allow operation at angles up to 25°. A MagicRing® spring-steel holder secures standard hex screws at various angles from 1/8" and up. The tool has a long arm length of 19.1 cm and a short arm length of 3.8 cm, and weighs 58 g, providing a balance of leverage and ease of handling for professional and DIY use.

Advantages

The chrome-vanadium construction and through hardening provide strength and wear resistance, while the chrome plating offers corrosion protection. The MagicRing® holds screws securely in place, improving one-handed operation and access in confined or hard-to-reach areas. The ball end enables angled engagement up to 25°, increasing flexibility when working in restricted spaces. The L-shaped form gives good leverage from the long arm and precise control from the short arm.

How to use

Select the correct hex-inch size for the screw and insert the short or long arm into the screw head as required. Use the long arm for greater leverage when loosening or tightening fasteners and the short arm for confined spaces or precise torque control. The MagicRing® will hold the screw on the tool for easier positioning; to use at an angle, engage the ball end and operate within the permitted 25° range.

Recommendations

Inspect the tool before use for damage or excessive wear. Use appropriate personal protective equipment and avoid applying excessive torque beyond the fastener or tool rating. Store the hex key dry to maintain the chrome plating and prevent corrosion.
