Clé hexagonale coudée Wiha 24306

The Wiha 24306 L-shaped hex key is a single-piece Imperial-size Allen wrench designed for precision fastening and adjustment tasks. With a long arm of 17.6 cm and a short arm of 3.6 cm, this tool provides reach and torque options in one compact, lightweight unit. At 41 g, it is easy to carry and manoeuvre for workshop, maintenance, and assembly work.

Advantages

The L-shaped form gives a choice between increased leverage on the long arm and quick access with the short arm. Manufactured as a one-piece hex key, it offers consistent geometry and reliable contact with fastener heads for reduced rounding and slipping. Its lightweight construction simplifies repetitive tasks and reduces user fatigue while maintaining the rigidity required for precise torque transfer.

How to use

Select the L-shaped hex key for the correct Imperial socket size and insert the short or long arm into the hex socket of the fastener depending on the required access and torque. Use the long arm to gain additional leverage for tightening or loosening stubborn fasteners; use the short arm when space is limited or when faster rotation is needed. Maintain a straight alignment between the key and the fastener to minimize cam-out and rounding of the socket head.

Recommendations

Inspect the hex key and fastener before use; avoid using damaged or excessively worn tools. Apply steady, controlled force and avoid using cheater bars or excessive impact to prevent tool or fastener damage. Store the hex key in a dry place to limit corrosion and keep the working surfaces clean for reliable engagement.
