Clé à cliquet KS Tools 503.4255

The KS Tools 503.4255 ratchet wrench set consists of five ratchet wrenches manufactured from chromium-vanadium steel. Designed for repeated use, each tool balances strength and corrosion resistance to meet demands in workshop and field environments. The wrenches feature a 72-tooth ratchet mechanism and conform to DIN 3113 and ISO 3318 standards for drive tools, providing a compact reversal angle and reliable engagement for tightening and loosening fasteners.

Advantages

Chromium-vanadium steel construction gives the wrenches high tensile strength and improved wear resistance for longer service life. The 72-tooth ratchet provides a fine 5° reversal angle for work in confined spaces, while standardized drive sizes ensure compatibility with common fasteners. The set format of five pieces offers a range of sizes in one pack, and the tools’ balanced weight and ergonomics support controlled torque application.

Suitable for

• Automotive maintenance and repair
• Mechanical assembly and disassembly
• General workshop and industrial use
• Home improvement and DIY projects

Key specifications

• Material: Chromium-vanadium steel
• Ratchet mechanism: 72 teeth (approx. 5° reversal angle)
• Standards: DIN 3113, ISO 3318
• Pack quantity: 5 pieces
• Total pack weight: 670 g

How to use

Select the appropriate wrench size for the fastener and position the ratchet head onto the nut or bolt squarely. Use the reversible ratchet mechanism to switch between tightening and loosening without removing the tool from the fastener. Apply steady, even force and avoid sudden impacts; for precision torque requirements, use a calibrated torque wrench to verify final values after initial fastening with the ratchet wrench.

Recommendations

Inspect tools before use for visible damage or excessive wear. Keep working surfaces and the ratchet head clean from debris and lubricate the mechanism occasionally to preserve smooth action. Do not use the wrenches as hammers or pry bars and avoid exceeding recommended torque limits for the fastener or application.
