Caméra de sécurité IP TP-Link TAPO C501GW 1920 x 1080 pixels

The TP-Link Tapo C501GW is an outdoor turret IP security camera with 1920 x 1080 resolution that supports 4G LTE connectivity and PoE power. Built for wall mounting, it provides wide-area coverage with pan/tilt control and a durable IP66 weatherproof housing. The camera supports local microSD recording (up to 512 GB), cloud storage via Tapo Care, two-way audio, and voice control with Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

Advantages

The Tapo C501GW operates over 4G LTE or via Ethernet with PoE, enabling flexible installation where Wi‑Fi is unavailable. It offers 360° horizontal rotation and 130° vertical range for comprehensive monitoring and a patrol mode that cycles through preset points. Multiple AI detection types distinguish people, pets, and vehicles while detecting tampering and line crossing to reduce false alerts. The camera includes adjustable dual spotlights and a sound alarm, an SMA connector for optional external antennas, and an IP66-rated casing for reliable outdoor performance.

Suitable for

• Remote properties without stable Wi‑Fi (garages, vacation homes)
• Farms, warehouses, and construction sites
• Residential outdoor monitoring (yards, driveways)
• Locations requiring PoE-powered, wired installations

Install optional external antennas on the SMA connector to improve signal if needed. Configure detection zones, AI detection types, and patrol points in the Tapo app, insert a microSD card for local recording or enable Tapo Care cloud backup through the app. Use two-way audio or voice commands through supported platforms to interact with the camera.

Recommendations

Place the camera where antennas have clear exposure to the sky for best 4G reception, and verify IP66 seals after installation. Choose PoE when stable wired power and network are available; use microSD for continuous local recording and enable motion-specific AI alerts to reduce unnecessary notifications.
