InLine coupleur fibre optique Keystone Snap-in – Simplex ST/ST, multimode, manchon céramique, blanc (89988D)

The InLine Fiber optical Keystone Snap-in adaptor 89988D connects two ST fiber cables in a simplex ST-to-ST configuration. It uses a ceramic alignment sleeve for consistent optical performance and is intended for multimode (MM) installations. The adaptor has a flat, low-profile white housing and is supplied as a single unit suitable for mounting in keystone-compatible patch panels, wall plates, or floor boxes.

Advantages

The ceramic sleeve ensures stable insertion loss and repeatable alignment for multimode ST connectors. The snap-in (keystone) format enables quick, tool-free mounting into standard keystone apertures. Its compact, flat design minimizes space requirements and the neutral white finish integrates with common patch panels and wall outlets.

How to use

Push the adaptor into a compatible keystone aperture until it snaps into place. Insert the ST connector ferrules of each multimode fiber cable into the adaptor's openings and ensure each connector latches securely. To remove, depress the keystone retention clip and pull the adaptor out of the aperture. Handle fiber connectors by the connector body to avoid contaminating the ceramic sleeve; clean connectors before mating for best optical performance.

Recommendations

Use with multimode ST connectors and clean all connector end-faces before insertion; avoid bending fibers sharply near the connector and ensure the keystone cutout matches the adaptor dimensions for secure mounting.
