How to use

Insert the SC-terminated single-mode fibre plugs into the coupler’s SC ports until they click into place, ensuring the protective shutter is open. Verify secure seating and test the link for optical continuity and insertion loss according to your network procedures. When disconnecting, close the shutter to protect the ferrule faces from dust and damage.

Recommendations

Handle the adapter and fibre connectors in a clean environment, keep the protective shutter closed when not in use, and avoid excessive mechanical stress on the adapter to maintain low insertion loss and long-term reliability.
