Adaptateur d'objectif Novoflex NEX/CONT

The Novoflex NEX/CONT lens adapter enables the use of Contax/Yashica mount lenses on Sony NEX (E-mount) camera bodies. Constructed from durable metal with a matte black finish, the adapter provides a secure mechanical connection and precise flange distance alignment so that manual focus and aperture control of legacy Contax/Yashica optics remain accurate when mounted on modern Sony mirrorless cameras.

Advantages

The adapter's solid metal construction minimizes play between lens and camera, preserving optical alignment and supporting consistent image quality. Its finish reduces reflections and the mount interfaces are machined for tight tolerances to ensure repeatable mounting. Because the adapter is purely mechanical, it maintains full mechanical control of aperture rings and focus on the adapted Contax/Yashica lenses without introducing electronic communication, which keeps operation simple and reliable.

Suitable for

• Photographers who want to use Contax/Yashica lenses on Sony NEX/E-mount mirrorless cameras
• Users adapting vintage manual-focus lenses for portrait, street, and landscape photography
• Videographers seeking unique optical character from classic lenses
• Collectors or technicians testing and evaluating legacy optics on modern bodies

Key specifications

• Mount conversion: Contax/Yashica (input) to Sony NEX/E-mount (output)
• Material: machined metal body with matte black finish
• Connection type: mechanical, no electronic contacts
• Compatibility: manual focus and mechanical aperture control retained
• Flange focal distance compensation: precision spacing for correct register

How to use

Align the red or white alignment marks on the adapter and the camera mount, then insert and rotate the adapter until it locks in place. Attach the Contax/Yashica lens to the adapter by matching the lens mount index and rotating until secure. Set the camera to an appropriate exposure mode that supports manual lenses (manual or aperture priority with focus confirmation), and use manual focus and the lens aperture ring to control depth of field. When finished, reverse the process to remove lens and adapter, taking care to avoid touching optical surfaces.

Recommendations

Use the adapter on a stable support or with proper handholding technique when focusing manually; enable focus peaking or magnified live view on Sony NEX cameras to assist accurate focus. Because the adapter does not transmit EXIF or autofocus data, plan for manual exposure and focus workflows and check for light leaks or reflections when using wide or bright lenses.
