Adaptateur de câble ShiverPeaks BS71210

The ShiverPeaks BS71210 cable gender changer converts between TAE-N and RJ-11 connector types, providing a compact solution for adapting telephone and low-voltage communication lines. The adapter has nickel/gold plated contacts to improve electrical conductivity and reduce corrosion. Its compact black housing is designed for straightforward installation and compatibility with a range of devices that use TAE-N or RJ-11 terminations.

Advantages

This gender changer offers reliable signal transfer thanks to its plated contacts, which enhance conductivity and resist oxidation. The compact form factor and durable black casing make the adapter easy to position in tight spaces and resistant to everyday wear. The adapter enables seamless interfacing between devices that otherwise use incompatible connector standards.

Suitable for

• Connecting legacy telephone equipment with TAE-N sockets to devices that use RJ-11 plugs
• Adapting telephone handsets, modems, or fax machines for testing or temporary setups
• Use in small office or home environments to resolve connector incompatibility

Key specifications

• Connector types: TAE-N on one end and RJ-11 on the other
• Contact plating: nickel with gold-plated contact surfaces for improved conductivity
• Housing color: black
• Application: telephone and low-voltage communication lines
• Form factor: inline gender changer/adapter

How to use

Insert the TAE-N connector into the TAE-N socket and plug the RJ-11 connector into the RJ-11 port of the target device. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain a stable electrical connection. Use the adapter only with equipment designed for standard telephone voltages and signaling; avoid applying excessive mechanical force when connecting or disconnecting to prevent damage to the contacts or housing.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep contact points clean and dry and avoid exposure to harsh chemicals or prolonged moisture. If you experience intermittent connections, check for proper seating of connectors and inspect contact surfaces for dirt or oxidation; cleaning with a suitable contact cleaner can restore conductivity.
