Émetteur Homematic IP HmIP-BROLL blanc

The Transmitter Homematic IP HmIP-BROLL White is a compact actuator for the motorised control of blinds and shutters. Designed for wall or socket installation, it provides remote control capability for window coverings in a Homematic IP smart home setup. The unit runs on 230 V AC with a 50 Hz mains frequency and consumes approximately 0.2 W in standby operation. Its small footprint (71 mm x 37 mm x 71 mm) allows installation in tight spaces while maintaining a maximum outdoor radio range of up to 220 metres for reliable signal transmission to compatible receivers.

Advantages

The device offers stable wireless communication within the Homematic IP ecosystem and a compact housing that fits standard installation points. Low power consumption reduces standby energy use, and the unit’s rated mains voltage makes it suitable for direct connection to common household circuits. The design focuses on compatibility with various blind and shutter drives and provides predictable range performance for typical home installations.

Suitable for

• Motorised roller blinds and shutters in residential environments
• Integration into Homematic IP smart home systems for remote control
• Installation in cupboards, behind switches or inside mounting boxes where space is limited
• Applications requiring moderate wireless range up to 220 metres in open areas

How to use

Mount the transmitter in a suitable location near the blind or shutter motor or within an accessible installation box. Connect the unit to the 230 V AC supply following local wiring regulations and the installation instructions provided by the system manufacturer. Pair the transmitter with a Homematic IP central unit or compatible gateway according to the pairing procedure, then assign the device to the corresponding blind or shutter control channel within the app or web interface. Test end stops and travel direction of the drive after installation and adjust settings via the control interface if necessary.

Recommendations

Install the transmitter where radio reception is not obstructed by dense concrete or large metal structures to maintain the specified range. Ensure mains connections are made by a qualified electrician and verify compatibility of the blind or shutter motor with the transmitter’s control outputs before commissioning.
