Couteau de poche Victorinox Mountaineer

The Victorinox Mountaineer pocket knife is a compact multi-tool designed for everyday carry and outdoor use. Built with a traditional slip-joint construction and an ABS synthetic handle, this Victorinox model combines reliable folding tools with a lightweight profile. Its modest height and balanced weight make it convenient to keep in a pocket, backpack, or tool kit for routine tasks and outdoor activities.

Advantages

The Mountaineer offers a set of commonly used tools in a single, folded unit that opens and closes smoothly thanks to its slip-joint mechanism. The ABS handle provides a durable, impact-resistant grip that is easy to clean and maintain. Compact dimensions and low weight make the knife practical for daily carry without adding bulk. The stainless-steel tool components resist corrosion and retain functional edges for general cutting, filing, and small repairs.

Key specifications

• Construction: slip-joint folding mechanism
• Handle material: ABS synthetic
• Overall height (closed): 20.5 mm
• Weight: 109.1 g
• Material of tools: stainless steel
• Toolset: multiple integrated functions for cutting, filing, and opening

How to use

Open and close each tool individually using steady pressure on the nail nick or edge provided; the slip-joint mechanism holds tools open under normal usage but does not lock like a liner or frame lock. Use the main blade for general cutting tasks, the file or secondary tools for grooming and light shaping, and the bottle opener or screwdriver for small service tasks. After use, fold each tool back into the handle until it rests fully closed to ensure safe carry. Clean metal parts after exposure to moisture and dry thoroughly to maintain longevity.
