Use the chef’s knife for chopping and slicing larger items, the utility knife for general tasks, and the paring knife for peeling and precision work. Rinse or place the knives in the dishwasher according to manufacturer instructions; allow blades to dry fully before returning them to the block. Store the block on a stable, level surface away from the edge of the counter.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, avoid cutting on very hard surfaces such as ceramic or glass, and dry blades thoroughly after washing to reduce the risk of corrosion despite stainless steel construction. Keep knives out of reach of children and replace the block if slots become damaged or no longer secure knives safely.
