Skywatcher BK 609 EQ1 Télescope 60/900

The Skywatcher BK 609 EQ1 is a classic 60mm aperture, 900mm focal length achromatic refractor telescope mounted on an EQ1 equatorial mount. Ideal for beginners and casual stargazers, this telescope offers crisp views of the Moon, planets, and bright deep-sky objects. The included adjustable aluminum tripod and slow-motion controls on both axes make tracking celestial objects easy and precise.

Advantages

Excellent value for money with a proven optical design. The long focal ratio (f/15) minimizes chromatic aberration, delivering sharp, high-contrast images. The equatorial mount allows smooth tracking of celestial objects as the Earth rotates. Fully coated optics enhance light transmission and image brightness.

Suitable for

• Beginner astronomers looking for a reliable first telescope
• Observing the Moon, planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Mars), and bright deep-sky objects like star clusters and nebulae
• Terrestrial viewing with the included 90-degree star diagonal
