Boîtier serveur Inter-Tech IPC 4U-4088-S rack noir

The Inter-Tech IPC 4U-4088-S Rack Black is a 19" server case in a 4U rack form factor designed for standard rack installations. It accommodates a mix of 2.5" and 3.5" drives, provides a front 120 mm fan and supports rear 80 mm fans for cooling. The chassis includes removable HDD cages, a crossbeam with mounting for up to four 2.5" drives and slot card holders, and lockable front slot doors to restrict physical access.

Advantages

The steel construction and standard 4U dimensions ensure compatibility with common rack systems and durable operation. Removable HDD cages simplify installation and maintenance of internal devices. The included crossbeam offers additional mounting points for 2.5" drives while integrated slot card holders keep expansion cards secured. Lockable front doors provide an extra level of physical security for installed drives and cards.

Suitable for

• Small to medium server deployments in 19" racks
• Storage-focused builds requiring multiple 2.5" and 3.5" drives
• Workloads needing secure, rack-mounted hardware with limited space

How to use

Install the chassis into a standard 19" rack using the front mounting ears. Mount 2.5" or 3.5" drives into the designated bays or attach up to four 2.5" drives to the crossbeam. Fit the motherboard (Mini-ITX, Micro ATX, or ATX) and route cabling to the front and rear fan locations for optimal airflow. Install a compatible power supply into the designed compartment; note that a PSU is not included.

Recommendations

For reliable thermal performance, maintain unobstructed airflow by populating front and rear fans as needed and avoiding blocking ventilation paths. Use the lockable front doors when physical security is required and secure expansion cards with the provided slot holders. Verify compatibility of drive heights and power connectors before final installation.
