Gaine thermorétractable CellPack 150149, 100 cm, pièce unique

CellPack 150149 heat-shrink tubing is a 100 cm single-piece sleeve for insulating and protecting electrical connections and cables. The polyolefin tube is designed to shrink when heated, forming a close-fitting coating that improves mechanical protection, moisture resistance and electrical insulation for repairs, cable bundling and terminal coverings in electronics and electrical installations.

Advantages

The tubing provides reliable shrink performance to create a tight, durable barrier around wires and joints without adding significant bulk. It offers resistance to abrasion and environmental moisture, helping to reduce the risk of short circuits and corrosion. Supplied as a single 100 cm piece, the sleeve is suitable for cutting to length for custom applications and ensures consistent material properties along its entire length.

Suitable for

• Insulating spliced or repaired electrical wires and cable joints
• Protecting terminals, connectors and soldered joints
• Bundling and organizing multi-conductor cables
• Providing strain relief at cable entry points
• General electronics and electrical installation maintenance

Key specifications

• Material: heat-shrinkable polyolefin
• Length: 100 cm (single piece)
• Form: tubular sleeve that shrinks when heated
• Primary functions: electrical insulation, mechanical protection, moisture resistance
• Application temperature range: shrinks using standard heat sources such as a heat gun or hot air

How to use

Select a section of tubing slightly longer than the area to be protected, slide it over the cable or joint, and apply heat evenly until the tube conforms tightly to the underlying surface. Use a heat gun or hot air tool at the recommended distance and movement to avoid overheating nearby components; if a heat gun is not available a controlled flame may be used with caution on suitable materials. Trim excess tubing with a sharp knife or scissors once cooled.

Recommendations

For consistent results, pre-measure and mark cut lengths, use a regulated heat source at an appropriate distance, and allow the tubing to cool undisturbed before handling. If working near heat-sensitive components, shield them or apply heat in short bursts. Other lengths are available on request; standard spools may contain tied sections.
