The Prima Matera saute pan offers fast response to temperature changes, uniform heat distribution and a stainless steel lining that resists corrosion and food reactions. Its copper exterior ensures excellent thermal control for delicate preparations, while the durable construction supports long-term use and compatibility with induction stoves.

• Material: 90% copper exterior with 10% stainless steel interior

How to use

Preheat the pan gradually to the desired cooking temperature and adjust heat promptly—the copper body responds quickly to changes. Use the pan for searing, sautéing and preparing sauces; when cooking acidic foods, rely on the stainless steel interior to prevent direct contact with copper. Avoid sudden temperature shocks by not moving the hot pan directly into cold water.

Recommendations

For best results, clean the pan by hand with warm water and mild detergent, dry immediately to prevent water spots, and re-polish the copper exterior occasionally to maintain appearance. Use utensils that do not damage the stainless steel lining and avoid prolonged storage of highly acidic foods in the pan.
