Cordon Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 gris 1 m

The Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 patch cable in grey, 1m length, provides a compact and reliable connection solution for Ethernet networks. Constructed with foil-screened twisted pairs (F/UTP), this Cat6 cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk to support consistent data transmission rates suitable for modern wired networks. The cable uses standard RJ45 terminations and a flexible jacket for straightforward installation in home or office environments.

Advantages

This Cat6 HP-FTP patch cable combines F/UTP shielding and high-quality twisted-pair construction to improve signal integrity over short runs. The 1m length reduces excess cable and clutter near desktop equipment while maintaining full bandwidth capabilities of Category 6 standards. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance for mixed environments and the durable outer sheath resists everyday wear and bending during installation and use.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in home and small office networks
• Short patch connections within network racks and wall outlets
• Linking IP phones, printers and other Ethernet-enabled devices

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 (suitable for Gigabit Ethernet)
• Shielding: Foil screened twisted pair (F/UTP)
• Length: 1 meter
• Color: Grey
• Termination: RJ45 connectors (standard 8P8C)
• Conductor type: Twisted pair copper conductors
• Jacket: Flexible PVC outer sheath

How to use

Plug the RJ45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on devices such as switches, routers, computers or wall sockets. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure physical connection. For best performance, avoid tight bends, kinks or repeated sharp flexing near the connector ends. Keep the patch cable separate from high-voltage power lines or large electrical equipment to minimize electromagnetic interference despite the cable's shielding.

Recommendations

Use this 1m HP-FTP Cat6 patch cable for short indoor links where reduced cable slack and improved interference protection are required. For installations requiring longer runs or additional physical protection, consider routed conduit or longer-length cables rated for the intended environment.
