Cordon Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 jaune 3 m

The Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 patch cable in yellow, 3 meters long, provides a reliable connection for Ethernet networks requiring Cat6 performance. Constructed with F/UTP (FTP) shielding, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and helps maintain stable data transmission over its 3 m length. The bright yellow jacket improves visibility for cable routing and identification in structured cabling environments.

Advantages

The F/UTP shielding design lowers crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded alternatives, supporting more consistent signal integrity. Cat6-rated transmission supports higher bandwidth and improved performance for gigabit Ethernet applications. A durable outer jacket and molded connectors contribute to long-term reliability and ease of handling during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers in office and home networks
• Structured cabling where color-coded identification is required
• Gigabit Ethernet links and applications requiring Cat6 performance

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: F/UTP (foil shield around all pairs with unshielded pairs)
• Length: 3 m
• Color: Yellow
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends (standard modular connectors)
• Typical use: Ethernet data transmission up to gigabit speeds

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the network device (for example a switch, router or network interface on a PC) and the other end into the corresponding port of the connected device. Ensure connectors are fully seated and that the cable routing avoids sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For best results, maintain proper cable management and avoid overstretching the cable during installation.

Recommendations

Install the cable following standard structured cabling practices: keep separation from power lines where possible, avoid tight coils and sharp bends, and use color coding to simplify traceability. Verify link speed and signal quality after installation to confirm Cat6 performance.
