Onduleur (UPS) Siemens 6EP4134-3AB00-0AY0

The Siemens 6EP4134-3AB00-0AY0 uninterruptible power supply (UPS) provides continuous backup power for sensitive electronic equipment. Designed for industrial and critical infrastructure environments, this UPS combines compact form factor with advanced battery management and high conversion efficiency to maintain power continuity during mains interruptions. The unit helps prevent data loss, unexpected shutdowns and hardware damage by supplying stable power until mains is restored or a safe shutdown can be performed.

Advantages

The UPS delivers regulated output and fast transfer to battery power, with integrated battery management that optimises runtime and battery longevity. Its compact design allows flexible installation in control cabinets or on mounting frames where space is limited. High conversion efficiency reduces heat generation and lowers operating costs, while built-in monitoring capabilities support integration with industrial control systems for status reporting and remote diagnostics.

Suitable for

• Industrial automation controllers and PLC racks
• Network and communication equipment in control rooms
• Server cabinets with a need for short-term backup power
• Instrumentation and measurement systems that require uninterrupted power

Key specifications

• Type: line-interactive / battery-backed uninterruptible power supply
• Form factor: compact unit suitable for cabinet or frame mounting
• Battery management: integrated charging and monitoring functions for improved battery life
• Efficiency: designed for high energy conversion efficiency to reduce losses and heat
• Output: regulated output suitable for sensitive electronic devices
• Transfer time: rapid switch-over to battery power to maintain device operation
• Monitoring: status interfaces and signalling options for integration with industrial control systems

How to use

Install the UPS according to the mounting instructions, ensuring proper ventilation and secure attachment inside a control cabinet or on an approved mounting surface. Connect the mains input and the protected load circuits following electrical safety standards and wiring diagrams. Configure any available signalling or communication outputs to the monitoring system used in the installation. Verify battery charge status before commissioning and perform a controlled test to confirm transfer to battery power and proper signalling of alarm states.

Recommendations

Place the UPS in a dry, dust-free environment with ambient temperature within the specified operating range. Periodically inspect battery condition and perform maintenance according to the manufacturer's schedule. Avoid installing the unit near strong electromagnetic sources or in locations with poor ventilation. For installations powering critical systems, implement a test routine to validate battery runtime under expected load and integrate the UPS status into the facility's monitoring and alarm systems.
