Outil d'ouverture iFixit EU145334-1

The iFixit EU145334-1 opening tool features a 5" antistatic nylon spudger with one flat end and one pointed end, designed to safely poke, pry and disconnect components during electronic device repair. The spudger's flexible, non-conductive material reduces risk of shorting or scratching sensitive parts and is commonly used by Apple-certified technicians as a reliable black stick for internal work.

Advantages

The 5" nylon spudger combines a flat blade and a pointed tip in a single lightweight, antistatic tool, allowing precise prying, connector disconnection, thermal paste removal from heat sinks, and wire hooking without introducing static. Its pliable yet durable construction makes it suitable for delicate tasks while remaining strong enough for general poking and prying. A notch on the tool provides a simple way to hook and manage wires.

Suitable for

• Prying open device cases and housings
• Disconnecting or reconnecting internal connectors
• Removing thermal paste from heat sinks
• Holding small parts during soldering and manipulating wires
• General poking, prying and component lifting in electronics repair

Key specifications

• Brand: iFixit
• Model / MPN: EU145334-1
• EAN: 0856235006078
• Material: Antistatic nylon
• Length: 5 inches (approx. 127 mm)
• Ends: One flat end and one pointed end; includes wire-hook notch

How to use

Use the flat end to gently pry open cases, lift connectors, or scrape thermal paste from surfaces. Employ the pointed end for precise poking, positioning small parts during soldering, or disconnecting tight connectors. The notch can be used to hook or route thin wires. Apply controlled force appropriate to the device and avoid levering against fragile components directly; work slowly and reposition the tool as needed to prevent damage.

Recommendations

For delicate electronic repairs, use the iFixit spudger in ESD-safe environments and combine it with other non-conductive tools when needed. If heavier prying is required, consider a more robust heavy-duty spudger to avoid tool flexing or part damage.
