Testeur de câble réseau Inter-Tech 88887209 gris

The Inter-Tech 88887209 network cable tester is a compact handheld device for checking the continuity and wiring of network cables. Designed for field use, it is battery powered and lightweight, allowing technicians and installers to verify cable connections quickly during installation and maintenance tasks. The tester identifies wiring faults and confirms proper pin-to-pin connectivity for common network cable types.

Advantages

The tester's small size and low weight make it convenient to carry and operate on-site. Running on a standard 9V battery, it provides fast, single-person testing without the need for mains power. Simple operation and direct fault indication reduce troubleshooting time and enable rapid verification of cable integrity.

Suitable for

• Testing Ethernet patch cables during installation
• Checking cable continuity and wire mapping in network troubleshooting
• Verifying connections in patch panels and wall outlets
• Field diagnostics for small office and home network setups

Key specifications

• Power source: 9V battery
• Weight: 110 g
• Form factor: portable handheld tester
• Primary function: network cable continuity and wiring fault detection

How to use

Connect one end of the network cable to the main unit and, if available, plug the remote terminator into the opposite end. Power the unit with a 9V battery and operate according to the device's interface to perform a continuity and wiring test. Observe the indicator responses to determine whether each wire pair is correctly connected or if there are faults such as open circuits, shorts, or crossed pairs. Replace the battery when indicator brightness or response time degrades.

Recommendations

Store the tester in a dry environment and remove the 9V battery when the unit will not be used for extended periods. Use the device on standard network cable types appropriate for pin-to-pin continuity checks and follow safe handling practices when testing live or energized circuits.
