Cartouche de simulation MyShield

For respiratory protection training that demands realism without risk, the MyShield Installer Canister (with Signal) stands apart from ordinary dummy filters. This simulation canister replicates the weight, connection, and handling of a live filter, allowing trainees to practice donning, doffing, and seal checks in complete safety. The integrated signal feature provides clear visual feedback during exercises, making it an essential tool for fit testing and familiarization with full-face and half-mask respirators.

Highlights

• Realistic simulation: mimics the size, weight, and RD40 thread connection of a genuine filter canister
• Integrated signal: offers visual confirmation during training scenarios
• Universal compatibility: fits any RD40 (EN 148-1) threaded mask
• Durable construction: high-grade ABS polymer withstands repeated use and impacts
• High-visibility blue colour: instantly identifies the canister as a training device
• Reusable and easy to maintain: simply wipe clean with a damp cloth

In daily use

In training environments, the MyShield Installer Canister allows instructors to conduct realistic drills without exposing participants to hazardous substances. Trainees can practice attaching and removing the canister, adjusting mask fit, and performing negative and positive pressure seal checks. The signal element adds an extra layer of engagement, helping to reinforce correct procedures. Because it provides no respiratory protection, it is safe for use in non-contaminated, oxygen-sufficient atmospheres, making it ideal for classrooms, training centres, and field exercises.
