Multitool Metabo MT 18 LTX Compact noir vert rouge

The Metabo MT 18 LTX Compact is an oscillating cordless multi-tool designed for cutting, sanding, scraping and grinding across a variety of interior construction materials. It delivers performance comparable to mains-powered models while remaining lightweight and easy to handle, featuring a powerful lithium-ion battery, an idle oscillation rate from 7,000 to 18,000 OPM and an oscillation angle of 3.2°.

Advantages

The tool offers wide accessory compatibility through a universal tool holder and a Metabo Quick tool change system for fast, tool-free accessory swaps. VTC electronics keep speed constant under load, and the large oscillation angle combined with high speed provides powerful material removal. Extra bright double LEDs improve visibility of the work area while a slim design with non-slip softgrip surfaces improves handling and comfort. The tool supports dust extraction by connecting an all-purpose vacuum cleaner. Battery packs include a capacity display and Ultra-M technology for efficient charging, optimized energy use and extended service life, with a three-year warranty on battery packs.

Suitable for

• Cutting wood, plastic and thin metal in interior renovation
• Sanding and finishing small surfaces and edges
• Scraping adhesives, paint and sealants
• Grinding and shaping materials in tight or detailed areas

Key specifications

• Power source: cordless, lithium-ion battery
• Idle oscillation rate: 7,000–18,000 oscillations per minute (OPM)
• Oscillation angle: 3.2°
• Weight: approximately 1.8 kg
• Integrated double LED lighting for work area illumination
• Universal tool holder with quick-change system
• Dust extraction port for vacuum connection

How to use

Fit the appropriate accessory into the universal tool holder and secure it using the Metabo Quick tool change mechanism. Select the desired speed within the 7,000–18,000 OPM range and begin work, applying steady, moderate pressure; VTC electronics maintain speed under load. Use the integrated LEDs to check the cutting or sanding line and, when necessary, connect an all-purpose vacuum cleaner to the extraction port to reduce dust. Check the battery capacity display before starting and recharge using the compatible Metabo charger following the charger instructions.

Recommendations

For best results on continuous or demanding jobs, use battery packs with sufficient remaining capacity and follow safe working practices: wear appropriate eye, respiratory and hand protection, secure the workpiece, and allow accessories to reach full speed before engaging the material. Replace worn accessories to maintain cutting and sanding efficiency.
