Advantages

These Pelikan Textmarker 490 highlighters offer consistent ink flow and quick-drying pigment that reduces smearing on most paper types. The multi-point tip provides flexibility between wide strokes for marking large areas and narrow strokes for precise underlining. The durable plastic body and secure cap help prevent drying out when not in use, and the assortment of colours allows for effective colour-coding and visual organization of notes and documents.

How to use

Remove the cap and select the tip orientation that matches the required stroke width. Use the broad edge for highlighting entire lines or paragraphs and the narrow edge for underlining or adding small accents. Replace the cap after use to maintain ink quality. Test on a small area if working with thin or delicate paper to ensure minimal show-through.

Recommendations

Store markers horizontally or with the cap securely fitted to prevent drying. For prolonged colour-coding projects, rotate colours to maintain even wear. Avoid leaving caps off for extended periods and keep markers away from direct sunlight and heat sources to preserve ink performance.
