Déflecteurs d'air Rittal 3286.990

Rittal 3286.990 air deflectors are designed to optimize airflow inside server and network equipment racks. The single-piece, lightweight deflector directs conditioned air where it is needed and helps prevent hot spots and recirculation of warm exhaust air. Its grey appearance integrates unobtrusively into most data center and equipment-room layouts while contributing to improved cooling efficiency and equipment reliability.

Advantages

The deflector’s compact, 140 g design allows quick, low-effort installation and minimal additional weight inside racks. By guiding air flow, it reduces the likelihood of overheating and supports more consistent inlet temperatures for installed devices. Constructed to fit standard rack environments, the deflector requires no complex modifications and maintains a neutral aesthetic that complements existing hardware.

How to use

Install the air deflector in the rack at the location where airflow redirection is required, aligning it with the airflow paths of installed equipment. Secure the deflector according to the rack’s mounting options or clips so it remains stable under normal operating conditions. Position the deflector to block or channel warm exhaust away from device inlets and to guide conditioned air toward intake openings, then verify airflow and device inlet temperatures after installation to confirm effectiveness.

Recommendations

Use the deflector as part of a broader cooling strategy that includes proper rack blanking, airflow management panels, and regular monitoring of inlet temperatures. Periodically inspect the deflector for secure fit and cleanliness to maintain optimal cooling performance.
