Adaptateur fibre optique LANBERG MM LC/UPC duplex OM3

LANBERG fiber optic adapter MM LC/UPC duplex OM3 is a duplex multimode LC/UPC coupler engineered to provide accurate alignment and low insertion loss for OM3 multimode fiber links. The adapter accepts two LC/UPC multimode connectors and offers stable mechanical coupling suitable for patch panels, faceplates and equipment housings in data centers and enterprise cabling systems. Designed for systems that use OM3 fiber, it supports high-speed multimode transmission while maintaining compact LC duplex form factor.

Advantages

The adapter ensures consistent mating of LC/UPC multimode connectors with OM3 fiber, minimizing optical loss and back reflection through precision ceramic alignment sleeves. Its duplex configuration enables two independent channels in a single housing, saving panel space and simplifying cable management. The compact LC footprint and robust construction provide reliable performance in rack-mounted or wall-mounted installations where space and signal integrity are important.

How to use

Install the LANBERG MM LC/UPC duplex OM3 adapter into a compatible opening on a patch panel, faceplate or enclosure. Insert LC/UPC multimode patch cords firmly into each duplex receptacle until they click into place, ensuring proper orientation and full seating. For removal, depress the connector latch and gently withdraw the connector to avoid stress on the fiber. Verify link performance with appropriate optical test equipment after installation to confirm acceptable insertion loss and return loss for OM3 multimode links.

Recommendations

Handle connectors and adapter ports with clean hands and keep protective dust caps on unused ports. Use appropriate cleaning tools for UPC polished ferrules to maintain low insertion loss. Avoid excessive bending of multimode fiber near the connection point and follow standard fiber handling procedures in data center and enterprise environments.
