Caméra IP Instar IN-9408 2K+ 2560×1440 pixels LAN WLAN

Instar IN-9408 is an IP camera offering 2K+ resolution (2560×1440 pixels) and dual network connectivity via LAN and WLAN. The camera is suitable for indoor and outdoor surveillance and provides increased image detail compared with Full HD. It supports continuous remote viewing and integration with network video recorders or cloud services, making it suitable for home, office and small business monitoring where clearer identification and wider coverage are required.

Advantages

The camera delivers higher-than-Full-HD resolution for improved clarity of faces and license plates at typical monitoring distances. Dual LAN and WLAN connectivity provides flexible installation options without compromising network reliability. Weather-resistant housing and night-vision capability ensure stable operation in varied lighting and environmental conditions. Standard network protocols allow integration with existing video management systems for recording and remote access.

Suitable for

• Residential indoor and outdoor monitoring
• Small office and retail surveillance
• Integration with network video recorders (NVR) and cloud services
• Areas requiring higher detail than 1080p, such as entrances and parking areas

Key specifications

• Optical resolution: 2560×1440 pixels (2K+)
• Network interfaces: wired Ethernet (LAN) and wireless (WLAN)
• Video streaming: real-time network video compatible with common surveillance clients
• Suitable for indoor/outdoor installation with weather-resistant housing
• Low-light performance with infrared illumination for night operation

How to use

Mount the camera at a stable location with the desired field of view and connect to power according to the supplied installation instructions. Choose wired LAN for permanently cabled installations or configure WLAN to place the camera without network cabling. Use the camera's web interface or the manufacturer's application to set image resolution to 2560×1440, adjust exposure and motion detection zones, and connect to an NVR or cloud service for continuous recording and remote access. Verify network bandwidth and storage settings when enabling high-resolution recording to ensure reliable performance.

Recommendations

For optimal image detail, position the camera to minimize extreme backlight and maintain a clear line of sight to target areas. When using wireless connection, ensure a strong WLAN signal; consider wired Ethernet for critical monitoring or where consistent throughput is required. Configure motion detection sensitivity and recording schedules to balance event capture and storage use.
