The result is smooth, quiet operation and consistent heat transfer for crisp, permanent prints on every page.

Highlights

• Genuine HP OEM part (RU5-0959-000CN) for guaranteed fit and function
• 24-tooth spur gear drives the fuser unit in select LaserJet models
• Durable plastic construction resists wear, cracking, and deformation
• Restores original paper handling and fusing quality
• Direct replacement for worn, broken, or noisy fuser drive gears

In daily use

Installation requires technical expertise, but once fitted, this gear works invisibly to keep your printer running at full speed. It eliminates the clicking, grinding, or slipping sounds that signal a failing fuser drive, and it prevents paper jams and toner smearing caused by inconsistent fuser rotation. For high-volume offices, replacing this gear during routine maintenance extends the life of the entire fuser assembly and avoids costly downtime.
