Casque Turtle Beach Recon 70

The Turtle Beach Recon 70 is a wired gaming headset designed to deliver clear audio and comfortable wear for extended play. It features circumaural ear cups that enclose the ear for focused sound, a frequency response of 20–20000 Hz for full-range playback, and a 1.2 m cable that connects directly to compatible controllers and devices. The Recon 70 comes in a lightweight white design with an adjustable head-band and cushioned ear pads to help reduce fatigue during long sessions.

Advantages

The wired connection provides consistent audio with no battery management required, while the circumaural ear coupling helps isolate game sound. The broad frequency response supports clear dialogue and in-game effects. At approximately 420 g, the headset balances sturdiness and portability and the adjustable head-band ensures a personalized fit. The one-piece cable simplifies setup and compatibility with many gaming platforms.

Suitable for

• Console gaming with wired controller connections
• PC gaming where a simple plug-and-play headset is required
• Long multiplayer sessions requiring comfortable, over-ear fit
• Users who prefer a lightweight, minimal-design headset

How to use

Connect the 1.2 m cable to the appropriate audio port on your console controller or PC. Adjust the head-band so the ear cups sit comfortably over your ears and ensure the cable runs without strain to prevent accidental disconnection. Use in-application audio settings to balance game and chat audio as needed. Store the headset in a dry place and avoid sharp bends in the cable to prolong its service life.

Recommendations

For best results, match the headset’s connection to your device type (controller jack or PC audio port) and keep software or system audio drivers up to date. If you experience discomfort during extended use, take regular breaks and adjust the head-band and ear pad position for a better fit.
