Cheville à expansion S 8 Fischer

The Fischer expansion plug S 8 is a rimless nylon anchor designed for reliable fixing in solid building materials. Made from high-quality durable nylon and supplied in grey, the plug expands in two directions to guide expansion forces parallel to the material edge, reducing the risk of spalling when used near edges. With a length of 40 mm and an 8 mm drill hole diameter, the S 8 is suitable for numerous light to medium fastening tasks in construction and DIY.

Advantages

The plug's nylon construction provides robustness during installation and long-term safety. Its rimless design allows both pre-positioned and push-through installation with easy insertion. An anti-rotation lock prevents the plug from turning in the drill hole, ensuring secure and stable anchoring.

Suitable for

• Fixing picture frames and mirrors
• Mounting lights and electrical fittings
• Installing lightweight wall cabinets and shelves
• General fastening in solid masonry, concrete and brick

How to use

Drill a hole with an 8 mm drill bit to the required depth (minimum 55 mm) in the chosen solid building material. Clean the hole of dust and position the plug either pre-positioned or push it through the fixture into the hole until flush. Insert a suitable screw and tighten to the required torque; the plug will expand in two directions to form a secure anchor. Use the anti-rotation lock to prevent twisting during screw insertion.

Recommendations

Use the Expansion plug S 8 in solid substrates such as concrete, solid brick or natural stone. Do not use in hollow or crumbling materials. Select screw length and diameter appropriate to the fixture and substrate; ensure drill depth and hole cleanliness for optimal performance.
