Lame de cutter WEDO 79 81 3 pièces

The WEDO 79 81 utility knife blades are precision ceramic replacement blades supplied in a pack of three. Each blade measures approximately 58 x 19 mm and is intended for use in most standard utility knives where a thin, sharp ceramic blade is suitable. The blades combine long-lasting sharpness and chemical inertness for a range of cutting tasks.

Advantages

Ceramic blades retain sharpness up to 10 times longer than comparable steel blades, resist rust and do not require an oil layer. They are chemically neutral and acid-proof, non-magnetic and electrically non-conductive, and produce no sparks during use, offering safety benefits in specific working environments.

Suitable for

• Precision cutting of paper, cardboard and thin plastics
• Hobby and craft projects requiring fine, clean cuts
• Workshop and light industrial tasks where non-sparking tools are preferred
• Environments sensitive to metal contamination or magnetic interference

How to use

Install the ceramic blade into a compatible utility knife according to the knife manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the blade is securely locked before use. Use steady, controlled strokes for cutting; avoid twisting or prying motions that may chip the ceramic. When the cutting edge becomes dull or damaged, replace the blade with another from the pack.

Recommendations

Store blades dry and handle with care to avoid breakage. Do not use ceramic blades for heavy prying, cutting very hard materials, or applications that place lateral stress on the edge; choose a metal blade for such tasks. Dispose of used blades according to local safety guidelines.
