Chargeur de batterie AC Grandstream GMC08

The Grandstream GMC08 AC battery charger is designed to service batteries for the WP820 cordless WiFi IP phone and compatible cordless models. Presented in a compact grey housing and supplied as a single unit, the GMC08 provides eight independent charging slots so multiple batteries can be charged or discharged simultaneously. Built‑in safety management protects against overvoltage, over‑charge, over‑current and short circuits while leak protection and selectable capacities provide control for storage and transport requirements.

Advantages

The GMC08 supports simultaneous handling of up to eight battery packs, reducing downtime when multiple spare batteries are used. Its selectable charging capacities accommodate restrictions for air shipment and enable controlled storage states. Integrated protections for overvoltage, over‑charge, over‑current and short‑circuit events improve operational safety and battery longevity. The compact grey enclosure and single‑unit configuration make it suitable for desk or service bench placement without occupying excessive space.

Suitable for

• Charging and discharging battery packs for WP820 cordless WiFi IP phones
• Service desks or IT closets managing multiple spare batteries
• Preparation of batteries for transport with selectable capacity settings
• Maintenance routines where controlled storage charge levels are required

When it may not be suitable

This charger is specifically intended for battery packs used in WP820 cordless WiFi IP phones and similar compatible models. It is not suitable as a universal charger for unrelated battery chemistries or form factors that do not match the supported battery packs. For single‑cell portable devices or proprietary battery systems with different electrical requirements, consult the device manufacturer for a recommended charging solution.

Key specifications

• Number of independent charging slots: 8
• Charge/discharge capability: supports both full charging and controlled discharge cycles
• Selectable charging capacities for transport and storage control
• Built‑in safety protections: overvoltage, over‑charge, over‑current, short‑circuit protection and leak protection
• Form factor: compact tabletop unit in grey finish

How to use

Place the GMC08 on a stable, flat surface and connect it to an appropriate AC power source. Insert battery packs into the individual slots ensuring correct orientation. Select the desired charging capacity or storage charge mode if required for transport or long‑term storage. The charger will manage charging and discharging cycles automatically while applying internal safety protections. When a cycle completes, remove the battery pack and store or install it in the target device following manufacturer guidelines.

What to consider before purchase

• Compatibility with your handset battery pack model (intended for WP820 and compatible cordless IP phone batteries)
• Number of batteries you need to charge simultaneously and available workspace
• Need for selectable capacity modes for transport or long‑term storage
• Power source availability and local AC voltage compatibility

Recommendations

For reliable battery health, use the GMC08 to cycle spare batteries periodically and select the storage capacity mode before long periods of non‑use or prior to air shipment. Always follow the handset manufacturer’s battery handling instructions and avoid exposing the charger to excessive humidity or direct heat sources.
