Fraises Bosch 2 608 628 392 Fraise droite 1 pièce(s)

The Bosch 2 608 628 392 router bit is a precision cutting tool designed for routing and shaping solid wood and wood-based boards. With a total length of 51 mm and a diameter of 25 mm, this Bosch router bit is suitable for applications requiring clean cuts and smooth edges in materials including solid wood, chipboard and MDF, as well as certain plastics and abrasive solid surfaces such as Corian.

Advantages

This router bit provides accurate edge and profile cutting thanks to its defined diameter and length. It is manufactured to Bosch quality standards for durability and consistent performance, suitable for repeated use in woodworking tasks. The design minimizes tear-out on wood-based panels and gives smooth finishes on compatible plastics and Corian-type materials when used with appropriate feed rates.

Key specifications

How to use

Install the router bit in a compatible collet or chuck of the router, ensuring it is securely clamped and runs true. Select an appropriate speed and feed rate for the material: lower speeds for plastics and abrasive surfaces, moderate speeds for hardwoods, and higher speeds for softer woods when safe. Make progressive passes rather than removing large amounts of material in a single pass to reduce strain on the bit and achieve a smoother finish. Use proper dust extraction and personal protective equipment.

Recommendations

Use this Bosch router bit with suitable router motors and collets that match the bit shank. Test on a scrap piece before final machining to set speed and feed. Avoid prolonged contact with materials that can overheat the cutting edge, and replace the bit when wear affects cut quality.
